THE ART WITH THE MARATHON

Self initiative project developed in Tarragona and Barcelona (2009 and 2010).

In 2009,the idea was transfroming an outdoors public place into an artistic stage for some hours,inviting passers-by,sculptors and photographers to perform any type of artistic creation where everybody,audience and performer,could enjoy the collaborative art show creating some artistic pieces  to contribute to support a social cause.

In 2010,there was an open call to artists and locals in general to create works in  public places related to painting,photography,sculpture  whose topic was the perception they had about the marathon.Eventually,these works were sold and the funds raised were donated to the marathon foundation.
